The London Grill, located in the Fairmount section of Philadelphia, opened in 1853. It was originally known as the Golden Lager Saloon. Current owners, Terry Berch and Michael McNally who have long careers in the restaurant business, took over in 1991.

London Grill Experience & Atmosphere

The London Grill gives you that English pub feel, which is known for their cocktails. This establishment serves a combination of pub food and fine dining entrees.

The London Grill just opened the ‘Paris’ wine bar on February 9th, 2012. A nice little quaint area with tables that has wine on tap. The Grill has a good mixture and selection of 12 draught beers, with a wine selection of 12 reds and 6 whites. They are better known for their 12 London Classics and 8 house infused cocktails.

The restaurant buys fresh and buys local. Their menu consists of such pub food as fried calamari, nachos, french fries, szechuan duck spring rolls, wings, sandwiches, and much more. Their fine-dining menu consists of roasted duck, braised veal breast, pan seared salmon, steak, and much more. They even have an extensive brunch menu. ~ Click here ~

The London Grill is an unique cafe type style restaurant in Fairmount because of the many small intimate rooms for dining. The staff is very warm and friendly, making your experience a pleasurable one. And the location is just a few blocks from the Philadelphia Museum of Art and the Eastern State Penitentiary.
