‘Enjoying Tasty Foods & Fun Along Main Street In Manayunk’
It’s back, the Manayunk StrEAT Food Festival, April 14 from 11 am to 5 pm. This festival is a kick-off to Manayunk’s Restaurant Week that is from April 15 – 26.
Get to explore the many Manayunk restaurants, 70+ Philly food trucks, gourmet food vendors, art vendors and even a few farmers’ markets that will be along the shopping corridor of Main Street, from Green Lane to Shurs Lane.
Food truck favorites like The Cow and The Curd, Cupcake Carnivale, Foolish Waffles, Oink & Moo BBQ, Surf & Turf Truck, Nomad Pizza, Mama’s Meatballs and many more Philly Food Trucks that will be some place along Main Street.
In addition, several of the food trucks and a number of Manayunk’s restaurants will highlight dishes with the secret soaring ingredient — strawberries! Get to sample a variety of delicacies created with the fruit of spring.
As you are out and about on Main Street, browse the many sidewalk sales and listen to live music from a handful of local bands. There will be live music for people of all ages to enjoy at Green Lane, Cotton Street, and Shurs Lane. In two parking lots in downtown Manayunk, area vendors will be selling handmade items and the farmers’ markets will be selling local honey, spices, jams, breads, vegetables and more.
Main Street itself will be closed down and include new elements such as Recess, which is like a kids zone. Recess will be located at Canal View Park and will have a moon bounce, face painting, Twister, sidewalk chalk, and more! Enjoy the Beer Garden that will be on Cotton Street as well!
