Celebrate America’s 250th with the Ultimate Philly Upgrade: New Perks for 2026

Philadelphia City Hall

PHILADELPHIA, PA — As the city gears up for its biggest birthday bash in half a century, Visit Philadelphia has unveiled a major 2026 refresh of its legendary Visit Philly Overnight Package. This year, the package isn’t just a hotel deal; it’s a golden ticket to the “Birthplace of America” during the nation’s Semiquincentennial celebration.

With total perks valued at up to $446, the 2026 edition is the most robust version in the package’s 25-year history. Bookable for stays from March 26 through September 7, 2026, it aims to turn a simple overnight stay into a cross-regional adventure.

The Return of the “Signature Perk”: Free Parking

Ask any regular Philly visitor, and they’ll tell you: hotel parking is the hidden budget-killer. Visit Philadelphia’s research shows that complimentary parking remains the #1 driver for bookings. The 2026 package brings it back in a big way, offering a value of up to $140 and saving guests the headache of navigating city garages.

Semiquincentennial Perks: Your Museum & Garden Passport

Beyond the parking, the 2026 package adds five massive new cultural perks, extending your itinerary from the historic cobblestones of Old City to the rolling hills of the surrounding countryside.

The 2026 Lineup Includes:

  • The Franklin Institute: Two tickets to the exclusive Universal Theme Parks: The Exhibition, plus general admission. This is a must-see for film and tech fans before it closes on September 7 (Value: $130).
  • Longwood Gardens: Two tickets to the world-renowned Chester County gardens, including the new Bonsai Courtyard and the lush Cascade Garden rainforest (Value: $64).
  • Elmwood Park Zoo: Two tickets to Norristown’s century-old zoo, home to jaguars, giraffes, and a zip line over bison exhibits (Value: $32).
  • Mercer Museum: Two tickets to the Doylestown “castle,” home to 40,000 pre-industrial artifacts that tell the story of early American life (Value: $40).
  • Brandywine Museum of Art: Two tickets to the Delaware County home of the Wyeth family’s legendary American landscapes (Value: $40).

  2. Redeem: You’ll receive a confirmation email with digital tickets for all attractions.
