A Battle of Holiday Cheer? Santa and The Grinch Team Up for Charity Photoshoots

Forget the North Pole vs. Whoville rivalry—this year, Santa Claus and the Grinch are putting their differences aside for a good cause in Center City. The dynamic (and slightly chaotic) holiday duo is returning to The Shops at Liberty Place for Selfies for a Cause, offering Philadelphians a unique photo opportunity that’s guaranteed to be a holiday card conversation starter.

On Saturday, December 6, and Saturday, December 13, 2025, from Noon to 5:00 PM, guests can pose with the two holiday personalities in front of the city’s majestic 45-foot indoor Christmas tree.

Why The Grinch is Smiling

The goal of this festive pairing is simple: raise money for the Morris Animal Refuge, Philadelphia’s oldest animal shelter. Entry is a $10 donation, and The Shops at Liberty Place will match up to $1,500 each day. Even the Grinch’s heart is guaranteed to grow three sizes when he sees the funds pouring in for local pets.

The event is famously dog-friendly, allowing pups to join their human friends, families, and co-workers in the festive line for an extra dose of holiday chaos and charity.
