Every October, Philadelphia’s dining scene turns its attention to the vibrant flavors of the Latin diaspora. Yet, the true heartbeat of the event goes much deeper than dinner discounts. Organized by the Greater Philadelphia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (GPHCC), the return of Dine Latino Restaurant Week is a focused economic campaign designed to sustain and elevate independent, minority-owned small businesses.
Running October 4–10, 2026, during Hispanic Heritage Month, the initiative shines a spotlight on the vital role Hispanic restaurateurs and food entrepreneurs play in shaping the region’s neighborhoods and local economy.
Championing Small Business Resilience
For six consecutive years, GPHCC has used the promotion to bridge the gap between diners seeking authentic experiences and independent operators who often lack large-scale marketing budgets. While food lovers can plan a taste of Latin America in Philly by touring neighborhood eateries across the city, each participating kitchen represents far more than just a great meal—they represent local job creation, cultural preservation, and long-term community vitality.
Sponsored by CSAA Insurance Group and Visit Philly, this year’s campaign also rewards patrons for choosing local. Guests dining in, taking out, or ordering delivery from participating venues can scan on-site QR codes for a chance to win exclusive dining experiences, catering packages, and restaurant gift cards.
Choosing where to spend your dining dollars is one of the most direct ways to reinvest in the community. By patronizing Latino-owned restaurants during this dedicated week, diners help ensure Philadelphia’s diverse culinary landscape continues to thrive well after Hispanic Heritage Month comes to a close.
