This new bakery, strategically located on Spruce Street, just a stone’s throw from the University of Pennsylvania, marks a sweet return to the brand’s roots and its 24th location in Pennsylvania, and 337th nationwide.
The new Spruce Street bakery stands particularly special as it’s a short distance from where Insomnia Cookies CEO and founder, Seth Berkowitz, first conceived the idea for the business back in 2003, while a student at the University of Pennsylvania. To honor this foundational history, Insomnia Cookies has collaborated with local artist and public muralist Ali Williams to create a first-of-its-kind Insomnia mural adjacent to the bakery, visually narrating the brand’s remarkable 20+ year growth story.
Ready to rescue anyone when that irresistible craving for something sweet strikes – even in the early hours of the morning – Insomnia Cookies offers convenient in-store pickup and delivery options.
