The popular social hub for dogs and their owners opens on November 6, featuring a unique partnership with Dogsters® Ice Cream Style Treats.
Manayunk is set to become the city’s new favorite spot for pups and their people. Fetch Park, the trailblazing dog park and bar concept, is officially opening its gates at 3720 Main Street on Thursday, November 6. The location combines a safe, off-leash play space for dogs with a full-service bar and café for their human companions.
In a unique twist, the Philadelphia location is partnering with J&J Snack Foods to launch a retro diner-themed Doggy Ice Cream Parlor. The parlor will serve Dogsters® Ice Cream Style Treats, allowing pups to enjoy a cold treat while their owners socialize.
“We’re thrilled to officially make Fetch happen in Philadelphia,” said Stephen Ochs, Founder and CEO of Fetch Park. He noted the new ice cream parlor “pays homage to the original diner that once stood here.”
Sit, Stay, and Play
Fetch Park is designed as a community hub, not just a place to let dogs run. The park features:
- A durable, mud-free, off-leash play area.
- On-site staff, known as “Woof Wardens,” to ensure safe play.
- An indoor café serving a southern-inspired food menu, craft cocktails, and specialty coffee.
- A vibrant calendar of weekly events for dogs and owners.
The partnership with Dogsters® is a natural fit. “We’re excited to bring Dogsters to Fetch Park’s newest location in our own backyard,” said Lynwood Mallard, Chief Marketing Officer at J&J Snack Foods, highlighting the brand’s local ties. “The new Doggy Ice Cream Parlor… is the perfect place to treat your pup.”
How to Visit
Entrance to the bar and café is always free for humans, and you don’t need a dog to enter and enjoy the scene.
Access to the off-leash park for dogs is available through daily, monthly, or yearly memberships.
The grand opening on November 6 will feature a day of festivities, including plenty of free Dogsters® samples for all the canine guests.
