Third Eye Blind is thrilled to announce the Summer Gods Tour’s fourth edition, scheduled to stop at Freedom Mortgage Pavilion in Camden, NJ, on July 12. The tour, produced by Live Nation, will feature special guests Yellowcard and A R I Z O N A. Presale tickets will be available on January 9 through Citi, with additional presales planned throughout the week. General on-sale will begin on January 12 at 10 am on ThirdEyeBlind.com. On January 10, catch an exceptional performance and interview with Third Eye Blind on “Good Morning America.”
Stephan Jenkins, lead singer of Third Eye Blind, expresses the band’s enthusiasm for the tour: “We need a summer tour so badly, like more than ever. We need the lights, the noise, the heat, and everybody up close to each other, singing as one. Can’t wait.”
Ryan Key of Yellowcard shares his admiration for Third Eye Blind, calling their self-titled album a “masterclass in songwriting.” Nate Esquite from A R I Z O N A also expresses excitement, reminiscing about their high school days with Third Eye Blind’s music and calling the opportunity to tour with them a dream come true.
In celebration of the 25th anniversary of their hit song “Jumper,” Third Eye Blind is releasing playable .999 silver-coated and .997 karat gold-coated records in collaboration with Precious Sound. With an engraving celebrating the self-titled album’s cover art on the B-side, the records are manufactured in Germany and playable at 33 ⅓ RPMs on any manual record player.
Pre-orders for the records will be available on ThirdEyeBlind.com and PreciousSound.com, with options ranging from .999 silver coating ($450) to .997 gold coating ($800), as well as twenty-five 24-karat solid gold pressings (price available upon request). A portion of the proceeds will benefit SeaTrees as part of Third Eye Blind’s ongoing commitment to restoring kelp ecosystems and carbon sequestration.
Precious Sound, the company responsible for creating the playable gold, silver, and platinum records, is based in Zurich and New York and has a production partner in Munich.
Lastly, the Summer Gods tour poster has been designed by Charlie Benante, founding drummer of Anthrax and member of Pantera’s touring band.
