Celebration of Black History Month ~ February 20 – 25 ~ Black History Month is celebrated annually in the month of February, reflecting on the roles that African Americans played and who continue to play in our history! Many institutions in Philadelphia recognize Black History Month with exhibits, film screenings, discussions, special events and performances and much more. Free Admission to the National Museum of American Jewish History ~ February 20 – 25 ~ FREE – National Museum of American Jewish Museum will have FREE admission the whole month of February in the Historic District of Philadelphia thanks to gracious support from the Parkway Corporation. Visitors will have access to the Museum’s core exhibition, displaying more than 20,000 artifacts, which highlights more than 360 years of Jewish life in America.  ~ Free Admission to the National Museum of American Jewish History ~

Terracotta Warriors Exhibit ~ February 20 – 25 ~ Held at The Franklin Institute. This is your chance to dive into the secrets behind the 2,000 year-old army of clay statues that guarded the tomb of China’s first emperor. 1893 Day ~ February 22 ~ Held at Reading Terminal Market all day! 1893 Day will transport visitors back to the day Reading Terminal Market opened. Guests can expect period costumes, penny-farthing riders, Victorian décor, and more. Hundreds of lucky customers will experience price rollbacks throughout the day when merchants will ring a bell and drop the price of an item to 1893 prices. ~ Event Details ~

Lunar New Year Celebration At Dim Sum HouseFebruary 22 ~ From 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm at Dim Sum House. Final Fridays: King Britt Presents “The Misguided Tour” ~ February 23 ~ From 5 pm to 8:45 pm at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Artist Bash: Heartache at The Barnes Foundation ~ February 23 ~ From 8 pm to 11 pm at The Barnes Foundation. Enjoy performers who transform heartache and pain into beauty.
