‘Exciting Art at Your Cost on Wednesday Nights & Much More’
Exciting news for you Art Lovers! Enjoy Pay What You Wish’ at the Philadelphia Museum of Art on Wednesday nights from 5 pm to 8:45 pm and on the first Sunday of every month from 5 pm to 8:45 pm!
Visitors can pay $10, $8, $5, $2, etc., allowing you to explore the Museum and its remarkable collections showcasing works by Marcel Duchamp, Salvador Dalí and a few local Philadelphia artists such as Thomas Eakins.
The museum in 2013 increased their tickets slightly to $20 a ticket from $16 to reflect the ability and importance of sustaining the museums mission, public programs and other activities. What is exciting is that the $20 adult ticket has become a 2-day ticket, allowing you access for two consecutive days to the main Museum building, the Perelman Building, the Rodin Museum and Historic House Mount Pleasant. Another eventful activity on Wednesday nights is yoga, practicing your poses with Dhyana Yoga, from 6 pm to 7 pm at the Great Stair Hall Balcony. First come first served, space is limited. Other activities for your delight, each week music will fill the Great Stair Hall, known as Art After 5 and once a month, musicians will perform live in the galleries.
