‘Partying on Prohibition’s Repeal Makes You the Cats Meow’
Who likes a fun party and even better, when it’s for a great cause.
Come out and mingle at Sunshine Arts 2014 Fall Fundraiser! Celebrating the anniversary of prohibition’s repeal, dress for the occasion and enjoy themed drinks, food, and live entertainment. It will be held December 5 at the Ethical Humanist Society of Philadelphia in Rittenhouse Square from 7 pm till midnight!
In 1933, state conventions ratified the Twenty-First Amendment, which repealed Prohibition. The Amendment was fully ratified on December 5, 1933.
Tickets will be sold for $75 online and for $100 at the door. Get tickets early!

Sunshine Arts is an inspired artist in residence and outreach for neighborhood kids to explore their creative side and develop tools which enable them to succeed not only academically, but also as constructive members of society. A place to explore the wonderful worlds of dance, literature, science, music and art.
It’s the support of the local community, special fundraisers, and much more that enables Sunshine Arts to continue to offer exploration of the arts to underprivileged children.
