“A Christmas Carol” At The Walnut Street Theatre!

A Christmas Carol In Philadelphia

‘Family Holiday Fun’

Get into the Christmas spirit by enjoying A Christmas Carol, a heartwarming tale of Ebenezer Scrooge at the Walnut Street Theatre a National Historic Landmark and America’s oldest theater.

Here you can join the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future as they lead the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge on a journey of transformation and redemption. We all know this grumpy old miser’s response to holiday cheer is “Bah, Humbug.”

Scrooge is a bitter old man who can no longer feel joy or affection, even for his family. Will it all change after the ghosts visit the Scrooge?

A Christmas Carol, probably the most popular piece of fiction that Charles Dickens ever wrote, was published in 1843. This music-infused production captures the magic and joy of Dickens’s Yuletide classic.
