Carson Wentz is Back For The Philadelphia Eagles and Will Start Against The Indianapolis Colts!

Philadelphia Eagles Carson Wentz

‘Da Man Is Back!’

Carson Wentz is Back!

The good news from Head Coach Doug Pederson, that Wentz has been medically cleared for contact, has been echoed throughout the city of Philadelphia! He hasn’t started in more than 9 months!

Philadelphia Eagles’ fans remember all too well when Wentz tore his ACL last year while he was diving into the end zone during a play against the Los Angeles Rams on December 10. He had surgery three days later and missed the rest of the 2017 season. Step in Nick Foles who not only led the Eagles to their first Super Bowl Championship, but was named MVP as well.

Before Wentz’s injury, he was having an MVP year and had lead the Eagles to an 11 – 2 record. He even had franchise records with 33 touchdowns and a quarterback rating of 101.9.

In this authors opinion, if the Philadelphia Eagles had won against the Tampa Buccaneers, I am thinking that they would have held Wentz out for another week or two. Hey, Wentz is a franchise quarterback, so that kind of thinking would have made sense. And this takes nothing away from what Nick Foles has done for the Eagles.

Wentz looks like he is ready to play! Watching him throughout the summer, his legs look extremely good and he has been throwing the ball very well. And Wentz will have a whole week to practice before taking on the Indianapolis Colts this Sunday!
