Elf Musical Comedy at Walnut Street Theatre

Elf Musical at Walnut Street Theatre

‘Holiday Family Fun – Reliving The Life Of A Kid’

Who gets excited about the holidays! How about this funny and charming Broadway musical, Elf, that the whole family can enjoy. All taking place at the Walnut Street Theatre from November 5 to January 5.

Elf is the hilarious tale of Buddy, who is a young orphan that mistakenly crawls into Santa’s bag of gifts and is then transported to the North Pole. Buddy actually doesn’t understand that he is human because he was raised with real elves. He faces the truth after realizing his enormous size and poor toy-making abilities. He decides to get Santa’s permission to travel to New York City with hopes in finding his birth father. Buddy is an adopted elf who realizes his father is on Santa’s ‘naughty’ list and his half-brother doesn’t believe that there is a Santa Claus. So it’s up to Buddy to save Christmas!

Come watch Buddy in this Broadway musical for the holiday season at the Walnut Street Theatre as he saves Christmas!

Elf is written by the same writers who wrote Annie and The Wedding Singer. The book is by Thomas Meehan and Bob Martin, music by Matthew Sklar, Lyrics by Chad Beguelin and based upon the New Line Cinema film written by David Berenbaum.
