‘Awesome Light and Digital Installation’
Jump into the future with this never-before-seen global exhibition of epic proportions. This visionary attraction takes visitors on a sensory journey of science, storytelling and art that celebrates the past three and a half centuries and offers glimpses into future innovations that will transform the world.
Philadelphia is one of only four cities around the world and the only U.S. city to host this futuristic traveling exhibit which will be held at The Oval from May 30 to June 6! This exhibit is brought to you by Philadelphia-based Saint-Gobain, a global building materials company founded in France in 1665, which celebrates their 350th anniversary. The touring exhibition makes three other stops across the globe to include Shanghai, China; São Paulo, Brazil; and Paris, France.
The touring exhibition makes four stops across the globe, including Shanghai, China; São Paulo, Brazil; Paris, France; and Philadelphia – the only tour stop in North America and home of Saint-Gobain’s domestic headquarters.
Five Immersive Digital Pavilions
Future Sensations will engulf The Oval with five enormous 20- to 30-ton pavilions, allowing visitors a live digital experience showcasing 21st-century technology with imaginative arts.
This exhibit is free to the public and will allow the visitor a 3-D walk-through of art while telling a story through science.
There are five pavilions – The 1st four which are Look, Listen, Color and Create; will provide a unique experience that will change during the day and night.
The fifth pavilion, Discover, designed exclusively for the Philadelphia exhibition, is an impressive 70-foot dome offering an immersive 360 degree visual experience. This pavilion will allow visitors to learn more about how Saint-Gobain innovations and their employees have impacted the lives of everyday Americans.
The full breadth of the North American portfolio will be on display in ways that will challenge and delight viewers regardless of age or background.
Pop-Up Beer Garden and Food Trucks
In addition to this amazing exhibit, there will be a pop-up beer garden and food trucks, just as you witnessed at last years Oval.
There will be different food trucks daily that will your hunger needs as you enjoy this spectacular display at The Oval.
At the beer garden you’ll find Yards Brewing Company and other Farm Brewing Company selections as well. The beer garden will be open Saturday, May 30, noon-10 pm, Sunday, noon-7 pm, closed Monday, June 1, and open Tuesday through Friday, 5-10 pm, and Saturday, June 6, noon-10 pm.

Please note this is a special exhibition at The Oval – regular Oval summer activities will not be happening during these times.
