GreenFest Philly in Headhouse Square

GreenFest Philly

‘Sustainable Energy & Living’

Welcome to the Clean Air Council’s 11th Annual Greenfest Philly September 11 from 10 am to 4 pm as it returns to Headhouse Square with 150+ exhibitors and vendors, free demos and much more!

Greenfest Philly is the largest environmental festival in the Philadelphia area. It’s a great place to learn about living sustainably while having fun! There is something for everyone, such as kid-friendly activities, shopping for local green wares, great food, live music, live demonstrations, and more. Kids can enjoy MOM’s Organic Market Kids’ Corner!

Become educated and take action on critical environmental issues from leading advocacy groups. Understand Green Energy which is energy that can be extracted, generated, and/or consumed without any significant negative impact to the environment. The planet has a natural capability to recover which means pollution that does not go beyond that capability can still be termed green. (from wikipedia)

Be able to purchase one of a kind handmade art and crafts from eco-artisans, win prizes, and sample delicious healthy local and organic food from popular food trucks and restaurants like Kung Fu Hoagies, Nomad Pizza and Soy Cafe. There will be desert from Mompops and Sand Island Ice!

Enjoy live free music by local favorites Little Strike, The Mysteries, Ceramic Animal, and Ill Fated Natives. You’ll be able to drink a local, sustainably brewed beer from Weyerbacher Brewing Co!

Also enjoy FREE Indego Rides to/from Greenfest (use code GreenFest16)!

Come on out to understand green, have fun, and get green in Philly.
