Philadelphia, PA – Manayunk Development Corporation is proud to present Holidays in Manayunk, featuring five weeks of festive activities that make you feel like you stepped into a Hallmark Movie. From November 30th to December 23rd, Manayunk Gets LIT will light up Main Street as 40 businesses compete for the most bling on the block. Get LIT Weekends will feature twinkling lights, food and drink deals, shopping specials, live entertainment, visits from Santa, and the return of the Jolly Trolley.
This year’s festivities include a Christmas Pop-up Bar at Taqueria Amor, transforming itself into Señor Grinch for the fourth year in a row – with thousands of lights and decorations outside and a head-to-toe make-over inside that will warm the heart of even the Grinchiest Grinches in all of Philadelphia. Look for over-the-top decorations, holiday movie clips and projections, unique holiday dishes (like Bah-Humbug Birria Tacos), theme cocktails, photo ops, and more.
Santa Paws is back on Saturday, December 2nd with pet photos with Santa. On Saturday, December 9th, join Philadelphia Runner for their 9th Annual Rudolphi Run starting at Manayunk Canal at 9:00 am to support North Light Community Center. While visiting Manayunk, help families in need all season long by donating to Operation Santa. Donations can be dropped off at 4312 Main Street or pick an item off the gift tree to donate!
