Major League Soccer Giant Ball Tour in Philadelphia

Philadelphia will be hosting the AT&T Major League Soccer All-Star game, also known as MLS, at PPL Park in Chester, Pa., on Wednesday, July 25 at 8:30 pm. The MLS All Stars will play Chelsea FC. Leading up to the game throughout the week, there will be many events starting with tomorrow’s special event that you won’t want to miss.

Starting at 2 pm, July 20, come out to the Philadelphia Museum of Art’s steps to watch Mayor Michael Nutter and MLS Commissioner Don Garber kickoff the ‘Giant Ball Tour’. Keep in mind that this is no ordinary soccer ball and using the word giant might be an understatement.

The giant ball will be led by a MLS-wrapped double-decker and be paraded through the city streets, making stops at such iconic locations as Love Park, City Hall, and Penn’s Landing. Fans will be encouraged to sign the giant soccer ball at any of these locations.
