‘Excellent Street Food Festivals Presented by the Food Trust’
Night Market Philadelphia is one of the city’s premier street food festivals. It has grown into more than just a few food festivals a year. Each Night Market Festival spotlights a different Philly neighborhood, showcasing excellent food from local restaurants and Philly’s finest food trucks. These events also include live music, the vibrant arts and culture scene. It’s basically become a food party that will take place three plus times a year now. A chance to explore different neighborhoods, foods, music and people all at once.
The original Night Market took place in East Passyunk in 2010 and the idea was inspired by Asia’s lively outdoor markets. Since its inception, the Night Market festivals have attracted well over 100,000 attendees and 300 food vendors to neighborhoods across the city, including University City, Northern Liberties, Washington Avenue, Mt. Airy and Chinatown, and attracting local and national attention to Philadelphia’s food scene.
Night Market Old City ~ May 15, 2014
The first 2014 Night Market Festival will take place in the Old City on May 15 from 6 to 10 pm. The Night Market will be a part of the historic attractions, the many excellent eateries and top-notch art galleries in the area.
At the Old City Night market, not only will there be great foods to taste, but you can expect cold local beers and fantastic live music from area bands. It will take place on 3rd and Arch Streets.
Night Market West Oak Lane ~ June 19, 2014
Taking place at 72nd & Ogontz Avenue from 6 pm to 10 pm. The streets will be wider for more room. There will be many food trucks, live music, lobster rolls, soul food, BBQ, roasted corn, sweet treats and a variety of beer choices from those at the Bloktoberfest event last year.
Night Market Lancaster Ave @ 35th St ~ August 14, 2014

Night Market Chinatown ~ October 2, 2014
Come check out all of the fun and excitement in Chinatown, on 10th and Race Streets, from 7 pm – 11 pm. Enjoy food from the local restaurants and many of the Philly food trucks that will line up Race Street. For more details, Click Here!
