NoChe – A Taste of Mexican Food & Drinks

‘Experience Mexican Drinks & Food on the North Side of the Boarder’ 

NoChe is a bar styled lounge that is located on the boarder of Rittenhouse Square in the Center City West section of Philadelphia.  The establishment has been known for their nine different types of gourmet pizzas, but will be changing their menu to reflect a more traditional style of Mexican foods in the coming weeks.

NoChe Experience & Atmosphere

NoChe, which opened in November of 2004, is located on the second floor of the corner of 19th and Chestnut Streets. The wide open space with ceiling-high windows gives guests a comfortable and cool experience. Especially if you have seats along the window side, which gives you a birds-eye view overlooking the Corner of Chestnut and 19th Streets.

The bar is towards your immediate left once walking in and there are large booths that line the perimeter. There is even a jukebox and two televisions that gives it a small sports bar feeling to the lounge.

NoChe offers very reasonable food and drink specials during its happy hour specials. As mentioned, they will be changing their menu in the upcoming weeks that will reflect the traditional Mexican foods, so be prepared for something better and different.

When it comes to the draft beers, there are 8 different beers on tap, half of which are local beers and the others that are regional, most of which are of the craft beer selections. You even have your choice of 20 different kinds of bottled beers, both domestic and imports.

Noche gives you that warm rustic feeling and allows you a good place to sit and relax with friends and co-workers. You can even host your party here for any kind of occasion. hat  The lounge/bar easily transforms from a restaurant in the early evening hours to a center city nightspot with an energetic crowd.
