Are you a film lover? Intrigued to know what happens behind the scenes? Love sneak previews of new movies? The Philadelphia Film Society is hosting the Philadelphia Film Festival for it’s 20th Anniversary. It’s running from October 20th through November 3rd.
The Philadelphia Film Festival is packed with many different events throughout the two weeks. Its goal is to engage and educate the diverse communities throughout the region regarding films in general. Many important independent films that should be seen by the community do not receive sufficient attention or recognition, hence why the Film Festival is so important.
Overall, this is your chance to get see some sneak previews to certain films, engage with others in the film industry, and so much more. The event kicks off tonight at the City Tap House, where there will be beer and food tastings. Then at 8 pm this evening, the 20th Annual Philadelphia Film Festival opens at the Annenberg Center (Zellerbach Theater) with a special screening of Like Crazy. ~ Philadelphia Fim Festival Events ~
