Philadelphia Sightseeing Tours is an unique sightseeing tour company in the City of Philadelphia. The company has doubled the size of their fleet since starting in July of 2009.

The tour guides at PST are experienced and professionally trained, in which you’ll receive accurate information. The Philadelphia Sightseeing Tours offers two types of passes. The 24 hour pass and the 48 hour pass. Depending on the type of your pass, you will be able to hop-on and hop-off anytime during the stops. You can even pick up the tour in the middle for a one-time fee of $20 for 90 minutes.
The company offers 4 types of tours throughout the City of Philadelphia.
- The Double-Decker Bus Tour ~ A 90 minute tour that enables you to view the city from the open part of the double-decker bus. See below for specific stops and sites.
- The Trolley Tour ~ A 90 minute tour aboard a climate controlled classic trolley. See below for specific stops and sites.
- The Independence Movement Walking Tour ~ Explore the most historic square mile in Philadelphia on foot with an expert local guide. You’ll get to see such sites as the Independence Mall, the Liberty Bell, Carpenters Hall, Washington Square, First bank of the United States, Betsy Ross House and much more!
- The Night Bus Tour of Murder, Mystery, and Mayhem ~ from October 1 – November 12 ~ This 90 minute tour will share the folklore about Philadelphia history. The guide will also talk about Ghost sightings at Independence Hall, the first kidnapping for ransom, where a Doctor woke up to find over 40 dead in one night on a specific street in Philadelphia from the fever, the last public execution and much more.
The Double-Decker and Trolley tour. There are 21 stops throughout the City of Philadelphia. Some of these stops include 2 to 3 attractions, meaning that you will end up seeing over 40 different attractions on your route. Some of the stops and attractions are :
- The Bourse Building in which you will get to see historical sites such as the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, and Carpenters’ Hall.
- The Betsy Ross House stop, and see other attractions such as Elfreth’s Alley and the Fireman’s Hall Museum.
- The Love Park stop, and to see City Hall.
- A few other stops would be the Rodin Museum, Eastern State Penitentiary, the Philadelphia Museum of Art and Rocky Steps & statue, the Franklin Institute, Philadelphia Zoo, the Please Touch Museum, the Academy of Music, and the American Jewish History Museum.
Philadelphia Sightseeing Tours will also allow for private tours for such groups as schools, youth groups, company outings, special interest groups and more. You can also book a trolley for your wedding day or rehearsal dinner, making it more convenient for you and your guests. PST is offering a promotion in April in which you’ll get a free Philadelphia souvenir tee-shirt if you buy at least one adult ticket.
