‘Holiday Fun With Family, Friends & Good Food’
Ring in the holidays with this fun family orientated event at the South Street Headhouse District Christmas Parade!
This event will take place on Sunday, December 1, 2019 from 4 pm to 6 pm at the Historic Headhouse Square Shambles on 2nd Street, between Pine and South Streets.
Santa will arrive on a firetruck around 4 pm and the tree lighting will take place at 5 pm with Santa and his helpers.
Following the tree lighting, Santa will all be on hand for photos with the kids. South Street vendors will be under the Shambles offering snacks, hot cocoa and cider and there will entertainment from the parade performers following the parade.
There will also be free horse-drawn carriage rides which will be available from Philadelphia Trolley Works.
SSHD, CBS 3 and The CW Philly 57 will collect unwrapped toys for children in the region through the Salvation Army. Look for collection bins under the Shambles during the event.
