‘Getting Into the Holiday Spirit At The Christmas Village’

When you start to work on your holiday shopping, this is the place to check out, with over 80 vendors in wooden booths offering you a great experience of shopping in Philadelphia.

The Christmas Village in Philadelphia is an outside Holiday market event in Center City Philadelphia, which is modeled after the traditional Christmas Markets in Germany. Ater a one-year stop at Dilworth Park last season, the Christmas Village is returning to LOVE Park in 2017 at the iconic plaza after several years of a multimillion-dollar renovation process.

You’ll be able to get a sneak peak on November 18 and 19. The Village officially opens on November 23 and will continue until December 24. The official opening ceremony will be on Sunday, November 26 at 3 pm.

The village will be selling anything from ornaments, high-quality arts and crafts, international gifts, jewelry, and much more. You’ll also be overwhelmed by the aroma of traditional European foods, sweets, and drinks.

The Holiday Experience at the Christmas Village at Love Park

You are sure to get into the holiday spirit because of the unique atmosphere with thousands of lights, the big Holiday Tree, the delicious smell of gingerbread and bratwurst. You can also try some of the traditional German cakes and spicy cookies, while washing the food down with German beers, hot cider, hot chocolate or some hot German Gluhwien (mulled wine).

On top of the great shopping and dining experiences, visitors will enjoy the glorious Christmas Tree, a Wish Wall in conjunction with the Make-a-Wish Foundation, theme days and weekends, tasting tours with Chaddsford Winery, live music during evenings and weekends, and other surprises to be announced.

It’s free admission to enter the Christmas Village. All we’ll need is a little snow to add to that Christmas spirit. So bring the family and don’t miss this special month long of events.
