Village Whiskey is definitely known for their burgers, so don’t be deceived by their name, thinking that it’s a whiskey place. The atmosphere is marveled through dim lighting, posters for various alcohols, and antique mirrors. The whiskies are proudly displayed throughout.

The burgers here are done very nicely you can add up to 10 different types of toppings. The meat is seasoned well and actually crumbles in your mouth.

Village Whiskey - Burgers in Philadelphia - Restaurants in PhiladelphiaYou have your choice of 3 different types of burgers; the Village Burger, the Veggie Burger, and the Whiskey Burger with foie gras. Foie gras is a food product made of the liver of a duck or goose that has been specially fattened. It is a popular and well-known delicacy in French cuisine. Its flavor is described as rich, buttery, and delicate, unlike that of an ordinary duck or goose liver.

Besides the burgers, you have your choice of salads, bar snacks such as oysters, fried shrimp, pickles served with beets, cheese, and bread, deviled eggs, and tater tots. Some other foods are the BBQ pork, chicken sandwich, and lobster mac n’ cheese.

Village Whiskey has a beer selection to go with their long list of liquors. They have 6 draught beers, 11 bottled beers, and 6 different selections of wine. Their Whiskey-based cocktails are divided into two categories: 6 Prohibition cocktails, like classic cocktails and 6 Repeal cocktails, that would be like your contemporary style drinks. To top it of, if you are looking for a good bourbon, scotch or whiskey, you have come to the right place. The establishment has 60 plus bourbons, 55 plus scotches, and 30 types of whiskeys, 14 of which are Irish types.

The Village Whiskey is a place for all burger lovers to stop by and try. One of the best places for burgers in Philadelphia can be had here. Just keep in mind that since it is a small establishment, it can get crowded, which is not a negative, but just that you need to be prepared and to plan ahead.
