One of the exciting updates this year is the extended hours. The village will now be open until 8:00 pm on Sundays to Thursdays and until 9:00 pm on Fridays and Saturdays, allowing visitors more time to immerse themselves in the enchanting atmosphere. The market will be adorned with thousands of twinkling lights, including new European market lights that will beautifully illuminate the rustic wooden huts from last year.

Upon entering the Christmas Village, visitors will be greeted with the sights and sounds of the holiday season. Captivating live music will fill the air, creating a festive ambiance, while children’s activities will keep the little ones entertained. There will be must-see attractions such as the Christmas Village Carousel, Ferris Wheel, and Kids Train, adding an extra touch of magic to the experience.

For those looking to find unique gifts and decorations, the village offers a wide selection of high-quality international and local products. Visitors can browse through the enchanting huts, discovering treasures from around the world while savoring delicious handcrafted beverages such as hot chocolate and Swiss raclette cheese.

One of the highlights of the event will be the German American Weekend on December 9th and 10th. This special weekend will feature exclusive spirits tastings, giving visitors the opportunity to sample delightful drinks and experience the rich traditions of German culture.

Thomas Bauer, the President of Christmas Village in Philadelphia, expresses his gratitude for the continuous support of the City of Philadelphia and looks forward to welcoming all guests to this extraordinary event. In addition to the Christmas Village, visitors can also explore the adjacent Made in Philadelphia Holiday Market at Dilworth Park. This market showcases local merchants from the tri-state area, offering over 160 reasons to shop small and support local businesses this holiday season.

Admission to the Christmas Village is free, making it an accessible and affordable experience for everyone. For more information about upcoming events and surprises from Santa, visitors can follow the Christmas Village on social media or visit their official website at www.philachristmas.com.
