‘Food & Drink Specials In Philly For The Eagles Game!’

E-A-G-L-E-S! Eagles country might very well be in London this weekend!

Don’t sweat it! If you didn’t make the trip over the pond to Wembley Stadium in London, there are plenty of restaurants and bars in Philadelphia that will be opening early on Sunday morning, serving breakfast and brunch with specials and lots of fun for all!

As the Philadelphia Eagles take on the Jacksonville Jaguars, with the game starting at 9:30 am on the east coast on 6 ABC and the NFL Network, many establishments will be opening early around 8 am to 9 am for your drinking and eating pleasure.

Plough and the Stars – Old City

123 Chestnut Street – Entrance on 2nd St between Market & Chestnut Sts

Plough and the Stars opens at 8:30 am. They will have $3.50 beer specials of Miller Lite drafts and bottles, along with a brunch menu served until 3:30 pm. They will also have Eagles alumni, Swoop and Eagles cheerleaders making an appearance (all signing autographs and photos)!

Cavanaugh’s Rittenhouse – Rittenhouse Square 

1823 Sansom St 

Cavs Rittenhouse will be opening at 9 am. They will have $3.75 Bud Light Drafts and $5 Carlsberg Drafts. Regular menu with the addition of a breakfast menu (breakfast sandwiches, breakfast burrito and a Breakfast Burger).

The bar will be giving away a Carson Wentz jersey during the game as well!

Catahoula – Queen Village

775 S. Front St.

Catahoula will be opening at 8 am with breakfast until 2:30 pm. Brunch starting at 11 am to 3 pm.  They will have drink & food specials along with breakfast and brunch items. The items mentioned below will be good from 8 am until 12:30 pm (regular prices afterwards).

Nick’s Bar & Grille – Old City

Nick’s opens at 9 am. They will be serving some English-inspired fare! Enjoy a full English breakfast for $10. Also $8 shepherds pie egg rolls (beef mashed peas and corn served with brown gravy) and $10 fish and chips.  For drinks, $10 Miller Lite buckets, $6 beer-mosas and $3 domestic drafts.

O’Neal’s Irish Pub – Queen Village

611 S 3rd St

The pub opens at 8 am with both floors ready for business. Enjoy breakfast sandwiches from 9 am to 3 pm, with food specials and their regular menu. Drink and beer specials: $3.50 (plus tax) Bloody Marys and mimosas, $3 (plus tax) Miller Lite pints, $4 (plus tax) Miller Lite 22 oz drafts, $15 Miller Lite buckets ( 5 – 16 oz cans), $9 (plus tax) Miller Lite pitchers. And we want to wish Kim Myers a happy birthday, who will be celebrating it at O’Neal’s on Sunday!

London Grill – Fairmount

London Grill opens at 9 am. There will be Yards specials and they will serve bubble and squeak breakfasts. They’ll also have a make your own Bloody Mary bar as well as.

Brü Craft & Wurst – Avenue of the Arts & Center City

1316 Chestnut St

Brü opens at 9 am. The beer hall is opening at 9 a.m. There will be plenty of $5 drafts, including BRU’s own Eagles-inspired Oktojawn beer, as well as $6 whiskey shots and bourbon punch. For $8, you can score the poutine-like Brü fries, wings, or cheese curds.

Cavanuagh’s Headhouse – Society Hill & Headhouse District

421 S, 2nd St.

Cavs Rittenhouse will be opening at 9 am. They will have $3.75 Bud Light Drafts and $5 Carlsberg Drafts. Regular brunch menu such as breakfast sandwiches, breakfast burrito and a Breakfast Burger.

McGillin’s Ale House – Avenue of the Arts South & Midtown Village

1310 Drury St

America’s oldest continually running bar opens at 9 am. Enjoy a Kegs ‘N Eggs breakfast that includes a full brunch menu (must then click on Brunch menu), which will include $3.99 Bloody Mary’s and Mimosas until 3 pm. You can also get the $5 Super Mug, which gets you $2 refills of Bud Light for Eagles games through the rest of the season.  

Urban Village Brewing – Northern Liberties

1001 N. 2nd St.

The brewery opens at 9 am. There will be $3 Urban Village draft beers, including an IPA-themed beer named in honor of the Super Bowl LII World Champions! They will also be serving their brand-new brunch menu, which will include $15 brunch pizzas and crostatas, plus $10 breakfast fries topped with bacon, hollandaise, and a fried egg.

Pistola’s Del Sur – East Passyunk

1934 E. Passyunk Ave

They will be opening at 9 am. For breakfast enjoy their Chicken Tikka Masala, which is the National dish of the UK! Also enjoy $4 YARDS (all Yards) & $4 Dallas Sucks beers at ALL PISTOLA locations! Jose Pistola’s at 263 S 15th St in Avenue of the Arts & Sancha Pistola’s at 19 W Girard Ave in Fistown.

City Tap House Logan – Logan Square & Penn Center

100 N. 18th St

City Tap House opens at 8:30 am. Enjoy $5 Victory Home Grown Lager Drafts all game long. $15 Build Your Own Mimosa (champagne, OJ, pampelmousse) Their food specials are Buffalo Chicken Dip and Cheesesteak Pountine!

Stats on 17th – Rittenhouse Square & Penn Center

This new sports bar opens at 8:30 am. Enjoy classic brunch picks like chicken and waffles, chocolate chip pancakes, stuffed Fruity Pebbles French toast that end at noon, plus the normal menu which starts in the afternoon. Also enjoy dink specials such as $5 Bud Light Eagles bottles, $6 green tea shots, $6 tea cocktails, $5 spiked seltzer and a $10 basement bucket for a fruity rum cocktail that will include flavored rums, cranberry, pineapple, and orange juice.
