‘Fly Eagles Fly Into 2015-16!’

Forget about the naysayers! Those that say you can’t dismantle a team and in the same season expect to be very competitive.

Ignore the fact that Sam Bradford tore his ACL not once, but twice while he was at St. Louis and that he even had a shoulder injury while at the University of Oklahoma.

Why do I say all of this? Injuries are part of football, fragile or not. And luck can sometimes be against you. Speaking about luck, no matter how good you or your team is, you still need luck on your side.

This brings us to the current Philadelphia Eagles of 2015!

As a long time Eagles fan, I haven’t been this excited in about a decade. Okay, maybe I was sold on the 2011 ‘Dream Team’ when the Eagles signed cornerbacks Nnamdi Asomugha and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie. But we had Michael Vick as a quarterback who was good, but I never felt that he could lead us to the promise land.

The end result, you either love Chip Kelly or you hate him, for all of the moves that he has made in the off season. I’ll say this – I love what Coach Kelly has done! Some may call it kool-aid. You have to withdraw your emotions from it all. Like when we traded LeSean McCoy for Kiko Alonso. How many thought Shady was going to be an Eagle for life!

Remember, football might be entertainment for you, but it’s a business. And Kelly has treated it like a major corporation in which he wants to instill his methods once he was given full control of operations as well as being a coach.

I spoke to Shaun Young, the man you see dressed in an Eagles jersey with his face painted at all of the Eagles games. Asked Shaun what he thought about this years team and his prediction.

‘Honestly as much as this goes for every team, it truly depends on injuries. Specifically Bradford. I believe we can go 12-4 and truly believe a SB is a reality. This is as excited as I’ve been since ’04-’05.’

Yes, it does go back to injuries. If the Eagles can get past any significant injuries, such as Bradford, then I love the Philadelphia Eagles chances for the 2015-16 season!

My prediction for the Eagles is 12-4! If Bradford misses maybe 3 games or less, we have a very good backup in Mark Sanchez, and this so-called fantasy could very well be a reality. What is your prediction? Please tell us in the comments below.

“On Any Given Sunday!” Go Philadelphia Eagles!! Fly Eagles Fly!

On another note, if you ever head to an Eagles home game, even if you want to tailgate, check out One Crazy Fan! I myself have been to countless tailgating events held at One Crazy Fan in the Wells Fargo lot. Owner Mike Young not only does some great cooking, but in many cases, you’ll find ex-Eagles players at his tailgating with other types of entertainment. The sad news is that One Crazy Fan is booked until the middle of October. Give them a try, you won’t regret it!
