‘A Great Season And A Great Story!’

The Philadelphia Eagles have been flying high all season!

Things looked gloomy after Carson Wentz went down, as the Eagles were 10 and 2 prior to Wentz’s injury and many Philadelphians thinking that the Eagles’ season had now ended, even though Nick Foles stepped into the LA Rams game and came out with a win.

Foles and the Eagles won the next 2 out of 3 games to hold onto the number 1 seed in the NFC! He then won the next to playoff games to lead the Philadelphia Eagles to their third Super Bowl in franchise history. And you guessed it, the birds will be playing the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LII, which is February 4 at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, MN.

The New England Patriots started out as 6.5 favorites after the Eagles won their game, but that line has dropped to 4.5 points since then and the Eagles are still dogs throughout their quest for the Lombardi Trophy. The Eagles are 0-2 in Super Bowl appearances. Speaking of dogs, do you have your Underdogs mask?

The last time the Eagles were in the Super Bowl, it was Super Bowl XXXIX in the 2004-5 season, which was won by New England 24–21.

The Eagles are a great story. Getting to this point without Wentz is truly admirable.

Philly fans have been nervous about Nick Foles, especially because of his last two starts to end the season, but Foles looked very good in a lopsided win against the Minnesota Vikings in the NFC Championship game, winning 38 – 7! The Eagles defense played extremely well, holding the Vikings to 7 points, which was scored on their very first drive of the game.

If Foles, whose crisp throws downfield for a few touchdowns can be duplicated on Sunday and the Eagles defense can keep Brady and company in check, the birds should be victorious.

Tom Brady has the ability to get the ball out quickly, and might use a lot of quick slant plays as the Eagles did against the Vikings, as to keep the Eagles ferocious pass rush from pressuring Brady.
