‘Enjoy South Philly Bars With Curt Decker of Nodding Head Brewery & The Hammer of Glory!’
The first inaugural #HOGtour pub crawl, led by Tom Kehoe, took place March 26 in the Fairmount neighborhood of Philadelphia. The HOG and crew now head on over to South Philly April 30, as many gear up for the kick-off to the much anticipated Philly Beer Week,which takes place May 29 to June 7.
For those of you that don’t know, HOG stands for Hammer of Glory.
The second #HOGTour will take over South Philly, and those following the HOG on its journey live will be able to pose for photos as well. The bars to be included are: Starting at Taproom on 19th at 6 pm, followed by South Philadelphia Tap Room, P.O.P.E. and Devil’s Den.
“The HOG is itching to hit the streets – and your Instagram feeds, the hammer’s newest online obsession – as it quenches its thirst and poses for photos with beer lovers everywhere. But it’s ready to get back where it belongs: out sharing a beer with its friends at the best bars in Philadelphia.”
Besides following Curt Decker from bar to bar with the HOG, who is the Grand Marshall for this pub crawl, there will be craft beer specials and other surprises along the way. There will be one more HOG crawl leading up to Philly Beer Week that will take place May 28 in the Fishtown neighborhood. Philly Beer Week officially kicks off on Friday, May 29. Save the date for the ultimate HOG pub crawl that will take place on May 29, usually visiting 16 bars starting in the Northeast and finishing up in Center City.
