2nd Street Festival at Northern Liberties

2nd Street Festival in Northern Liberties

‘Fun, Food & Music in Northern Liberties’

The 2nd Street Festival, a free event, is back again for its 11th Annual event in Northern Liberties on August 4. The festival will be hosted on 2nd street, between Germantown and Green Streets. The streets will be filled with live music stages, workshops, art, food, beer gardens, crafts, kids programs, and other merchandise vendors.

The goal of the annual 2nd Street Festival is to bring awareness to this exciting neighborhood that has so much to offer the city of Philadelphia. This event brings together young families, entrepreneurs and businesses; making the Northern Liberties community a neighborhood to appreciate.

This blowout block party will have three music and event stages, to include the Germantown and Brown Street Stage and the Piazza Pod Park. In the middle of the festival, there will be street performers. For a complete music line-up, click here.

What goes good with music? Food and beer, and there will be plenty of it. There will be beer gardens provided by the neighborhood’s most prominent restaurants, including Standard Tap, Urban Village, El Camino Real, Bourban & Branch, Cantina Dos Segundos, Heritage, Jerry’s Bar and more.

Explore the many food trucks such as The Cow and The Curd, Nomad PizzaPoi Dog Philly, Mom Mom’s Polish Food Cart and more. For a list of the bars, restaurants and food trucks, click here. Just make sure you bring your appetite.

Festivalgoers will also be able to enjoy the many arts and crafts that can be purchased. For a complete list, click here.
