‘Top 10 Beer Festival in America’
March couldn’t start off better than with the Philly Craft Beer Festival and the Philadelphia Flower Show.
The Philly Craft Beer Festival has been called as one of the “Top 10 Beer Festivals in America” by Forbes Traveler.
Experience more than 75 of the best craft breweries from around the block, around the country, and around the globe who will be on hand to offer samples of their finest brewing achievements.
As an attendee, you will receive a souvenir five ounce tasting glass with a two ounce pour line. You will be able to sample any beer that the brewers have. There will even be live music by Bangers And Mash. A band from New York, will be performing a cutting edge combination of rock and traditional Irish music.
For every good beer, one must enjoy good food. There will be a handful of food trucks at this year’s event. Such Philly Food Trucks as; The Cow and The Curd, Nomad Piazza, The Tot Cart, Lil Dan’s Gourmet Food Truck, Chewy’s and Oink and Moo BBQ. We do know for a fact that the Cow and The Curd will be able to pair some of their dipping sauces with certain beers that will be available at the festival. Since 2006, the Philly Craft Beer Festival has helped raise awareness and funds, more than $50,000, for the local Philadelphia Committee to Benefit the Children (CBC), the official event CHARITY partner. For more details about the charities, Click Here.
There will be complimentary bus shuttle service available to festival attendees from the Broad & Pattison SEPTA station to the Philadelphia Navy Yard venue. Shuttles from Broad & Pattison will begin at 11:00 AM and run continuously throughout the day.
The event takes place outdoors under tents, rain or shine. All attendees must show valid photo I.D at the door to be admitted. You must be 21 or older to attend this event. No Exceptions!
Come get your beer on at the Philly Craft Beer Festival as Mardi Gras creeps around the corner, and then 2 weeks later, St. Patrick’s Day.
