Philly Burger Brawl! ~ Who Has The Best Burger In Philadelphia!

Philly Burger Brawl

‘Tasting Burgers From All Across The City For A Good Cause!’

Get your taste buds ready for a burger feast!

Welcome back the 7th Annual Philly Burger Brawl! Held at XFinity Live May 21 from 3 pm to 6 pm, this special event funds literacy programming through technology for Philadelphia’s undeserved children in our public elementary schools.

Burger Brawl Atmosphere and Experience

What first started out as a neighborhood fundraiser for the Wasserman’s children’s school, The William M. Meredith Elementary School, Burger Brawl has turned into a lively event.

Seven years ago, their goal was to gather a few restaurant industry friends to create a small event at Fleisher Art Memorial that would eventually fund a new computer lab for Meredith. It has grown so large that in 2014 it had moved to the Xfinity Live! Complex. More than 3,000 people attended and more than 50 restaurants participated.

This year, Burger Brawl anticipates 5,000 attendees and has set even higher goals after funding many computer labs.

Not only will the Taco Takedown and cutthroat cocktail competition be back this year, but new this year is “King of the Wing” competition.

As an attendee, you’ll get to enjoy a sampling of a burger from 40+ establishments. Also enjoy taco creations by 10+ restaurants and food trucks. Come on out and have a burger of a time for a worthy cause. The event is rain or shine.

With his experience of blogging and social media, Jeff wants to share all of what Philadelphia has to offer, so he created At MyPhillyAlive, we want to share the excitement that the City of Philadelphia resonates. Sharing the passion within, from the people of Philadelphia. At MyPhillyAlive, we’ll be talking about Philadelphia restaurants, fun bars, the city night life, the history of Philadelphia, Philly attractions & events, the arts, sports, and much more. We want people to add their experiences regarding Philadelphia, even if they are from out of town, which can be done on our Facebook fan page as well. At the end of the day, we want to be different from the many Philadelphia sites. We want our site to be easy to navigate, while at the same time, we want you to not only find the hot spots, the best things to do in Philadelphia; but those hidden gems within the city. Thanks...
