‘Philadelphia Is The Best Beer City In America!’

If you have heard of Philly Beer Week, a non-profit promoting Philly’s beer culture, the organization has rebranded itself as Philly Loves Beer!

Philly Beer Week is usually known as a 10-day celebration that takes place in the beginning of June every year. The problem was that many thought it stopped right there and they would have to wait until the following year.

Hence the rebranding as Philly Loves Beer, which will be dedicated to raising awareness of the beer scene in both Philly and its surrounding areas 365 days a year. Yet Philly Beer Week will still continue as the main event on an annual basis while never losing a beat!

The organization has trademarked the motto “America’s Best Beer Drinking City,” which will host a series of events dedicated to the local beer scene, and will work to promote the well-regarded beer scene in Philly.

Kristine Kennedy, Executive Director of Philly Loves Beer, told us:

Philly Loves Beer is a year-round entity devoted to raising Philadelphia’s global profile as a destination city for beer tourism. We are excited to be promoting more events, highlighting more about the local beer scene and much more.

It’s hard to believe that Philly Beer Week has been around for so long, considering that it’s celebrating its 10 year anniversary! Since its inception, many cities all around have copied Philly’s Beer Week.

Philadelphia is known for many firsts (just some of Philly’s firsts)!
