A Philadelphia coffee staple is officially brewing up its next expansion. ReAnimator Coffee, operated by Mark Capriotti and Mark Corpus, is set to open a brand-new cafe in the first-floor commercial space at 4226 Main St. in Manayunk.
The new Manayunk outpost will join a solid lineup of existing ReAnimator locations across the city, including spots in Fishtown, South Kensington, South Philly, West Philly, Port Richmond, and their recently opened Mt. Airy cafe.
Main Street Manayunk continues to buzz with activity and new additions, especially fresh off the heels of this weekend’s massive Philadelphia Cycling Classic and Manayunk Watch Party. The arrival of a high-quality, ethically sourced roaster to the neighborhood is sure to be a welcome addition for locals and visitors alike.
What to Expect on the Menu
ReAnimator has built its reputation on the meticulous roasting and ethical sourcing of its beans. Fans of their existing locations can expect the same commitment to quality, with fresh bags of single-origin and light-roast beans available for purchase—including highlights like the Guatemala Finca La Bolsa, Mexico Angel Albino Corzo, Honduras Finca El Jardin, and Colombia Desvelado Decaf.
For everyday sipping, the shop will pour their reliable mainstays like the Keystone Blend, All Day Medium Roast, and Foundation Blend.
If you’re looking for something beyond a classic espresso, cold brew, or drip coffee, the new location will feature a highly anticipated specialty drink: the Coconut Guava Matcha. This refreshing concoction blends house-made guava syrup (crafted with real guava juice, puree, and preserves) with coconut water and matcha, all finished with a dusting of Tajín for a perfect kick.
Alongside teas, baked goods, and their signature brews, visitors will also be able to grab ReAnimator merchandise, including sweatshirts, hats, mugs, and collectible matchboxes.
