Hidden Lives Illuminated At Eastern State Penitentiary ~ September 3 – 12 ~ FREE – Held at Eastern State Penitentiary at 2027 Fairmount Avenue. Screenings are about 40 minutes long and start at 7 pm, 8 pm and 9 pm every evening. Twenty commissioned, animated short films by artists living or working in prisons look inside the daily life of America’s correctional system. This gazillion piece journey shares the issues animals are facing around the world and spotlights the heroes working to save them.
