It’s been a tough 16 months for many! Things are looking up and there is no better place to celebrate Independence Day than in America’s Birthplace!

The celebration kicks-off with many events and activities prior to 4th of July, all thanks to WAWA Welcome America!

The annual WAWA Welcome America Festival started on June 19 and continues all the way to the incredible fireworks finale over the Philadelphia Museum of Art on July 4!

Philadelphians and visitors will be able to celebrate with events and activities such as festival experiences, free concerts, free admission to a few museums, free movies, educational activities, health and wellness activities, free hoagies and much more. But wait, we are missing something! On July 4, enjoy a free concert in followed by one of the best fireworks shows in the world.

Celebrate “Signer’s Day”, our own special celebration of the five signers of the Declaration of Independence at the Burial Ground with free admission for visitors 12 and under and a free history hunt for kids of all ages.   • Wawa Welcome America 4th of July Concert

Time: 7:00 pm – 9:45 pm
Location: The Mann Center at 5201 Parkside Ave ~ Map ~ West Fairmount Park ~

FREE – The legendary July 4th Concert returns starring Bebe Rexha, featuring Flo Rida, and a special performance by Cam Anthony with the Philly POPS all on the Independence Blue Cross Stage at Mann Center for the Performing Arts for the first time ever. General admission and lawn access will be available for in-person guests and the concert will be broadcast live on NBC10 and TeleXitos. Gates open at 4 pm & concert starts at 7 pm. FREE tickets, but must pre-register (limit tix)

  • Wawa Welcome America Fireworks Spectacular

Time: 9:45 pm – 10:00 pm
Location: Benjamin Franklin Parkway (Broadcast on NBC 10)

Courtesy of Wawa, the tradition of July 4th fireworks returns to the iconic Benjamin Franklin Parkway. Beginning at 8 p.m., guests are welcome to gather from Eakins Oval to Logan Circle to enjoy this rousing and patriotic festival grand finale. The official fireworks soundtrack will air on The Breeze 106.1 FM. The complete fireworks spectacular will be broadcast live on NBC10 and TeleXitos.
