The National Constitution Center opens a new permanent exhibit that explores the constitutional debates over slavery that led to the Civil War and how the nation transformed the Constitution during Reconstruction. Dad Vail Regatta ~ May 10 & 11 ~ FREE – The world’s largest collegiate regatta takes place on the Schuylkill River and attracts more than 3,000 competitors from 125 colleges across the country and Canada.
