AIDS Walk Philly 5 k Walk/Run ~ October 20 ~ 8:30 am (registration starts at 7 am) Starts at Eakins Oval in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art at 2600 Benjamin Franklin Parkway. Enjoy a scenic, Schuylkill River-adjacent route on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. The 5K walk begins and ends with a small festival at the starting line; that’s where attendees can grab hydrating drinks and check out panels of the AIDS Memorial Quilt honoring those who lost their lives to HIV/AIDS.
