5th Annual Philadelphia Veterans Parade and Festival ~ November 3 ~ FREE – Starts at noon. Parade starts at Juniper & Market streets and continues heading east on Market Street, which concludes at North 5th Street where the Veterans Festival will take place. The fifth annual Philadelphia Veterans Parade and Festival honors local veterans who nobly fought for our country, ahead of the Veterans Day holiday next Monday, November 11. Spectators can cheer on the more than 150 organizations involving over 7,000 participants marching in the parade and enjoy food truck fare (Grilly Cheese, Deke’s BBQ, P.J. Ghost Ship on the Delaware River ~ November 3 (Wednesdays – Sundays) ~ FREE – 7 pm – 10 pm at Race Street Pier at Race Street & North Christopher Columbus Boulevard. Visitors get to vision a 50-foot-tall and 90-foot-wide “ghost ship” from the 18th century that is part of the Waterfront Arts Program.
