George Washington’s Birthday Party at Valley Forge National Historical Park ~ February 17 ~ FREE – 10 am – 1 pm ~ Held at Valley Forge National Historical Park at 1400 N. Outer Line Drive in King of Prussia. Pay tribute to Gen. George Washington with a fun-filled birthday party. Indoor and outdoor activities take place around the visitor center and include games and crafts for kids, as well as a chance for the little ones to join the Continental Army. Glamsino Royale: Cannes at the Kimpton Hotel Palomar Philadelphia ~ February 20 ~ 6 pm – 9 pm. Cost $40 – $50. Held at Kimpton Hotel Palomar Philadelphia at 117 S. 17th Street. Here is your chance to get dressed up and walk the red carpet at this fabulous event. The top floor transforms into a glitzy casino inspired by the Cannes Film Festival, where guests sip cocktails, mingle with the fabulous bingo-verifying divas and flaunt their skills at a host of classic casino games. Open Studio Night at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts ~ February 21 ~ 5 pm – 9 pm. FREE to attend. After party $10 – $25. Held at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts at 118-128 N. Broad Street. Here guests get a behind-the-scenes look at the creative process of the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts’ undergraduate and graduate students, who open up their studios to show and discuss their work with visitors. There are nearly 200 private studio spaces for student artists. An after party in Tuttleman Sculpture Gallery starts at 7:30 pm with a performance from Camp Candle, an electronic/pop music duo from Northwest Philadelphia. ~ Open Studio Night at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts ~

Tuskegee in Philadelphia Book Signing and Discussion at the American Helicopter Museum ~ February 23 ~ 2 pm. Held at American Helicopter Museum at 1220 American Boulevard, West Chester. Enjoy this special book signing and panel discussion with Robert Kodosky, author of Tuskegee in Philadelphia: Rising to the Challenge, and members of the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of the Tuskegee Airmen. Marie Cuttoli at the Barnes Foundation ~ February 23 – May 10 ~ Held at the Barnes Foundation at 2025 Benjamin Franklin Parkway. The Barnes Foundation is the first major American institution to examine entrepreneur and art collector Marie Cuttoli’s approach to art and business. The exhibition follows Cuttoli’s career and her role in reviving the French tapestry industry by commissioning tapestry works by famous artists like Man Ray, Joan Miró and Picasso.
