With many museum exhibits, the School of Rock at The Academy of Music, the continuation of Philly Wine Week, Easter Egg Hunts and activities, the Brewer’s Plate event, the opening of Game Masters at The Franklin Institute, Franklin Square is now open and so much more, you might need a vacation after this week!

Philly Wine Week ~ March 26 – 29 ~ Continuation of Philly Wine Week, which is an eight day event that embraces those that savor the knowledge and taste of wines. Women’s History Month ~ March 26 – 31 ~ Held at the National Constitution Center the whole month of March! Guests can enjoy self-guided tours that focus on women’s history such as The Story of We the People, which highlights defining moments in women’s history, a game board challenge, an interactive show about women’s suffrage and more.  ~ Women’s History Month ~

Crocs: Ancient Predators in a Modern World Exhibit at the Academy of Natural Sciences ~ March 26 – May 6 ~ Held at The Academy of Natural Sciences, come face-to-snout with live crocodilians, a group of reptiles that has evolved and thrived for 200 million years thanks to their brute strength, keen senses, and murderous instincts. Cros Exhibit at the Academy of Natural Sciences ~

Leonard Bernstein: The Power of Music Exhibit ~ March 26 – September 2 ~ Held at the National Museum of American Jewish Museum. Audiences may be familiar with many of Bernstein’s works, notably West Side Story! Philly Rabbit Run at Philadelphia Zoo ~ March 31 ~ Registration at 7 am & race starts at 8 am. Make tracks to the Philadelphia Zoo to help fight Parkinson’s disease at the 5k run or 1 mile walk! Participants will receive bunny ears, t-shirt, & goody bag while supplies last. Easter Egg Hunt At Reading Terminal Market: FREE – Held at the Piano Court at the Reading Terminal Market from 8 am to noon. The Easter Bunny will be available from 9 am to noon. South Street Easter Promenade: FREE event for families that starts at 12:30 pm. The 87th Annual Easter Promenade, one of the oldest Easter festivities will feature a parade, live music, photos, costume contests and even a visit from the Easter Bunny & Mrs. Peter Cottontail. The parade leaves from South Street and Passyunk Avenue at 12:30 pm and heads down South Street to 2nd Street. Prizes will be awarded in 12 categories for best dressed kids, families and even FIDO too! After the festivities, stay for a fabulous brunch on South Street. Event is rain or shine.
