  • Boston Massacre 250th Anniversary at the Museum of the American Revolution ~ March 6 – 8 ~ Held at Museum of the American Revolution at 101 S. 3rd Street. To mark the 250th anniversary of the Boston Massacre, the Museum of the American Revolution will have special programming about the historic confrontation that spurred the American Revolution.   • The Philly POPS: POPS Rock Phil Collins at the Kimmel Center ~ March 6 – 8 ~ GA starts at $35. Held at the The Kimmel Center at 300 S. Broad Street. Philadelphia salutes the only performer to play both London and Philly for Live Aid in 1985 in this tribute performance to Phil Collins at the Kimmel Center.   • Pennsylvania Ballet: La Bayadère at the Academy of Music ~ March 6 – 15 (select dates) ~ Held at The Academy of Music at 240 S. Broad Street. Director Angel Corella’s brings back this classic, La Bayadère, an epic story of love and revenge set in India. The work’s Kingdom of Shades scene, which features 24 dancers moving in perfect unison, is one of the art form’s most-revered moments. ~ Pennsylvania Ballet: La Bayadère at the Academy of Music ~
  • Orchid Extravaganza at Longwood Gardens ~ March 6 – 22 ~ Held at Longwood Gardens at 1001 Longwood Road in Kennett Square. Free with general admission (timed tickets required).   • Marie Cuttoli at the Barnes Foundation ~ March 6– May 10 ~ Held at the Barnes Foundation at 2025 Benjamin Franklin Parkway. The Barnes Foundation is the first major American institution to examine entrepreneur and art collector Marie Cuttoli’s approach to art and business. The exhibition follows Cuttoli’s career and her role in reviving the French tapestry industry by commissioning tapestry works by famous artists like Man Ray, Joan Miró and Picasso.   • City Winery Philadelphia ~ Now Open ~ Thanks to Founder & CEO Michael Dorf and his team, they have brought you a venue that offers excellent tasting wine, food and music, all in one place.   • Museum of the American Revolution – The Museum of the American Revolution tells the full story of the American Revolution and explores its ongoing legacy, showcasing a vast collection.
