This weekend kicks of with Valentine’s Day today and ends with President’s Day on Monday. Check out the many things to do below.

Don’t forget that the Philadelphia Auto Show and Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus both end this Sunday, February 17. In up coming weeks, get ready for East Passyunk Restaurant Week, the Philadelphia Flower Show, St. Patrick’s Day; followed by many food festivals and much more.

  • President’s Day Weekend at National Constitution Center ~ February 14 to 17 ~ Visitors to the National Constitution Center will learn about the role of the president and what it takes to be commander-in-chief.  There will be craft activity tables, Presidential Trivia and re-enactors will join the museum throughout the weekend to mingle with guests, pose for photos, sign autographs, and discuss their lives and presidencies.   • The Underground Railroad in Philadelphia ~ February 15 & 16 ~ FREE – From 4 pm to 4:30 pm, join a Park Ranger from the National Park Service in a 30-minute slideshow and experience the time in the 18th and 19th centuries, when Philadelphia was an important stop on the Underground Railroad. Beyond the Paint will present archival and documentary material, including timeline-based information, interactive material, and images that are enlivened by the creation of new murals within the gallery space.   • Philadelphia City Hall ~ Like Architecture? Philadelphia History? They give tours of the Philadelphia City Hall. If you go up high enough, you get to see the whole city. ~ Philadelphia City Hall ~
  • Philadelphia Museum of Art – So many things that surround this museum. The “Rocky” Steps or the “Rocky” statue. A great view down Benjamin Franklin Parkway. Behind the museum, you can view Boat House Row and a few other things. ~ Philadelphia Museum of Art ~

  • Philadelphia Parks – Such as Fairmount Park or even Franklin Square for the kids or relaxing.
