Looking for things to do with dad this weekend to celebrate Father’s Day? We have some fun things listed below that you can get a jump on before Sunday! Take dad to enjoy the Spruce Street Harbor Park and the Summerfest at the RiverRink while you enjoy the first day off summer as well.

This weekend kicks off the continuation of the Lego Art exhibit at the Franklin Institute and Beneath the Surface exhibit at Penn Museum. Also enjoy magic shows, farmers’ markets, and much more. During the weekend, enjoy the Manayunk Arts Festival, the Juneteenth Celebration and activities at the Betsy Ross House regarding Flag Day. The weekend ends with the Portuguese Heritage Festival.

Something that we love! Your kids can join the Continental Army for marching drills and musket etiquette. How about raise the flag with Betsy Ross. Or listen to historians as they tell the story of every day Philadelphians during this moving version of the Declaration of Independence.
